Why Christians MUST Vote

The presidential election is coming up on November 8.  The last day to register is October 11.  And as Christians, we must get out and vote.  Let me explain with four simple statements:
  1. First, God commands us to love our neighbors (Mk 12:31).
  2. Second, the government has a significant impact on our neighbors.
  3. Third, our government leaders are elected by the citizens.
  4. Fourth, as American citizens, Christians must vote for government leaders who will have a positive impact on our neighbors.
To give you an example, God commands us to love our unborn neighbors.  The government has a significant impact on our unborn neighbors by either protecting their right to life, or by making it legal to murder them before they are even born.  Our government leaders are elected by us.  Therefore we must vote for government leaders who will protect the lives of our unborn neighbors by abolishing abortion once and for all.

Regarding the issue of abortion, the upcoming presidential election is crucial.  One Supreme Court justice will be replaced (Scalia), and three others are around eighty years old.  The next president could choose 3-4 new justices.  If Hillary is elected, she will choose pro-abortion justices and lock in a radical left-wing Court for the next thirty years.  If Trump is elected, he will choose pro-life justices, possibly giving the Court a 5-4 or even a 6-3 conservative majority, which will then reverse Roe v. Wade and put the issue of abortion back into the hands of the states.  This will result in the saving of millions of children.

Don't neglect your civic duty this November.  It is literally a matter of life and death.
