The Fight Against Abortion: We Still Have a Lot of Work to Do

I have good news and bad news.  The good news is that in 2016, 19 states passed 60 restrictions on abortion!  I'm proud that Louisiana was one of those states.  You can find more detail about some of those new restrictions here.  The bad news is about 70% of Americans oppose overturning Roe v. Wade (Pew Research).

I believe that the primary reason that pro-life Americans are against abortion is because their churches preach against it.  At the same time I believe that the primary reason that the majority of Americans are still in favor of legalized abortion is because so many preachers still neglect to preach on political and cultural issues like abortion.  Not me.  I believe strongly in preaching on politics and culture, and I sure wish more pastors would stop worrying about offending people and start preaching to glorify God!
