How to Know Christ More

The most important knowledge in life is spiritual knowledge, and the most important spiritual knowledge is the knowledge of Christ.

The apostle Paul wrote of his personal passion to know Christ.  “More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord (Phil 3:18).”  Is anything more valuable than knowing Christ?  Compared to knowing Christ, everything else is worthless and pointless.

“My goal is to know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death (Phil 3:10)."  This should be true of every Christian.  Our goal must be know Christ.  It must be our passion.  Do you recall the old praise song?  "Give me one pure and holy passion.  Give me one magnificent obsession.  Give me one glorious ambition for my life -- to know and follow hard after You."
