Greek Word Study | 2296: amazed (thaumazo)


William Hendriksen says thaumazo means “stupefaction: overwhelming amazement, painful perplexity.”  He adds, “The apostle is amazed or astonished to hear that the addressed are in the process of changing their position.” (New Testament Commentary, Galatians, Galatians 1:6.)
